You're right.

The England verison of Dick Knight hasn't spend any money on team strengthening, and we still don't have a Wembley.

Soon we'll be signing players on frees from San Marino and we'll be groundsharing with France.

I enjoyed it. I don't usually bother with friendlies, normally you can tell from the first 10 minutes that it's going to be rubbish. Yesterday though the first 10 mins were great! A few youngsters made mistakes and we lost - so what? Denmark are a good side (they won their group as well) and their winner came when we had a very young side on.

I know the result will disappoint the "We should beat Denmark 'coz we're Ingerland and we're the best - Sven out!" brigade but they're just going to have to lump it I'm afraid. It was a good exercise and we're still going to Portugal.

At the foot of the downs
so will Ashley Cole, Wayne Bridge looked a far better defender when he came on yesterday, and Cole has looked a bit 'iffy' in a few games receintly..

Bridge for Cole I say !!

Indeed get rid of all the players that played Sunday and bring in new ones. The current ones have obviously gone stale. And why stop at Sven the whole FA must be replaced.

Seriously though I thought we did alright and probably didn’t deserve to lose.

Alan Green made a good point on Radio 5. He aid what's the point in putting in the fringe players in a mass substitution. Surely better to have a look at a couple per game and see how they fit in with the regulars.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
We will be fine, Gerrard, Scholes, Campbell, Ferdinand, Owen all missing.....

Need I say more, thats the entire spine of our side out, any side in the world missing them would struggle.

Pretty entertaining I thought for a change.

Wayne Bridge looked a much more accomplished defender yesterday. Ashley Cole still dives in too much. Bridge faces much more competition for places at club level than Ashley Cole and this seems to have pushed his game on to a new level.

at home
why dont we scrub this idea of bringing on sub standard subs and get back to "B" internationals and let the first x1 play all game

Why does all the money go on Wembely? Eh? Eh?

We need some money spent on the team!

That Ronaldo looks like a good buy.

I think the future looks pretty bright. The likes of Johnson, Joe Cole, Rooney, Terry are all breaking through and look really exciting. If they can work on keeping goals out I don't see any reason why they can't make a serious challenge at the Euro championships.

Yeah, but we've still got a sh!t keeper in David James.

I could count on one hand the number of good keepers Brazil have had in the past five decades, yet they don't seem too hamstrung by it.

Big flaw Simster, we've got no Brazilian outfield players to compensate.
