Looking forward to Rose vs Cantlay. Europe could win from this if it goes to the 18th and matches ahead of it are won earlier.

There is then the chance to target the caddy with our celebrations.

Ok, 5 minutes to the off. Fast start required by Europe. USA will be bolstered by the win last night over Rory and the subsequent silliness, so we need to shut them down early. Come on Europe!!

Hatton birdies 1. 1up
Scheffler birdies 5, Rahm 1up
Rory birdies 3. 2up.
Fitzpatrick holes a good putt on 2 for a half.
6 matches on the course, Europe winning 5 of them. Early days but looking very good.

The Scottish woman on Sky is talking FAR too much, especially in the few seconds before the stroke. Irritating. She clearly has learned nothing from Peter Alliss.

Hovland's on fire, Morikawa's terrified!

Every time the Yanks win back a hole Europe wins it back elsewhere down the fiield.
