Don't go much on egg-chasing - but this is gripping.

They are all over us.

England have really got to justify the hype now - massive 40 minutes coming up!

Well, this second half sums up why I'm not such a fan of rugby.
The underdogs can't just dig in like they would in football if they're ahead.

I'll be pleased to see England go through from a patriotic point of view - but they've done nothing as thrilling as the Welsh in the first half. It's just kick after kick after kick. Wilkinson's has got nuts the size of melons to handle the pressure, but they might as well just have a two minute contest of trying to score penalties from different angles - then spend the other 78 minutes in the pub.

The tension next w/e against France will be unbelievable but I doubt their 3/4 line will cut us to pieces like the Welsh did. Much respect to Wales, great game :clap2:

We'll be ok next week aslong as more than 5 of the squad perform coz IMHO only 5 did perform today, Catt (man of the match) Dawson, Robinson, Greenwood & Cohen

f***ing excellent, the irish on rte were creaming themselves that england were getting beat saying things like 'nothing unites the world more than beating the english'.

I wish I could get good old neutral bbc commentary.

Just got back from a pub full of Aussies and many :drink:

The Aussies, like the Irish were creaming themselves over every Welsh attack.

I was thinking of posting a poll question following the game but I'll ask it here. Does playing badly and winning make you a good side or simply a winning side?

We've been shit in all three of our big game first halfs and Samoa shouldn't even have been a big game. On the other hand we have a 100% record. Brighton under Taylor so often ground out a 1-0 win whilst being less than convincing I wondered if the old cliche was wrong and a measure of luck and confidence often comes in to it.

One thing to be sure - if we play like that against ther French we'll be murdered. But not before the Kiwis have sent the Aussies out :lolol:

Sign of a good team is winning to your capacity.

However England will need to play much better if they are to beat France next weekend.

I think you've hit the nail squarely on the head.

Night y'all.
