FDM 6. Couple of excellent saves but still very weak on crosses. Bomber 6. Looked happier on the right after Virgo went off. Threw himself into everything sometimes a little hurriedly. Tunnicliffe 8. A giant in defence who won everything and finished the game as our only player who has scored this season. Elphick 6. Immense in the air but looks short on pace on the floor. Virgo 5. Not a right back but doing fine until two sloppy rather than nasty tackles. On both occasions the six toed and fingered opponents made a meal of it. Croft 7. Very tidy and covered in front of defence well. Davies 6. Okay but not able to support much after we lost a man. Dicker 7. The main man in the middle for us. Looks better every game. Bennett 6. A bit peripheral but does give us width. Forster 7. Chased everything and couple of good shots. Dickinson 5. Struggled to make impression although had opponents crawling over him. Subs. Jamie Smith 4. Looks slow in thought and body. Cox 5. Didn't contribute much. Hart 5. same as Cox

Would give Elphick a 7, not that far behind Tunnicliffe I don't reckon. Difficult to rate the midfield in some ways as they didn't do that much going forward due to the 10 men situation. Thought Bennett threatened to do something but didn't quite.

I think it's quickly becoming clear that Wright was; 1. A bit of a panic buy, and 2. Not a leftback. He may turn out to be a decent centreback, it's hard to say, but he looks deeply uncomfortable at fullback to me.

Kuipers 7 - Kicking not the best but some quality saves especially one at the end.

El-Abd 6 - Dealt with most balls well, switched from Left to Right back.
Tunnicliffe 8 MOM - Not afraid to get stuck in, and a thumping header for the goal.
Elphick 7 - Much better after the shambles against Southend. Also wasn't afraid to get stuck in.
Virgo 6 - Did OK, but sent off for 2 late tackles. Should know better.

Bennett 7 - Looked lively, and one of the few players to get forward to help Forster out.
Dicker 7 - Typical Dicker performance. Solid.
Crofts 6 - Lost the ball very easily on a few occasions, but generally OK.
Davies 7 - Looked to get forward, and cracking delivery from the corner for the goal.

Forster 7 - No goal, but came close on a couple of occasions. Always a threat.
Dickinson 6 - Missed a guilt edged chance after the near own goal. Worried about his goal draught. Subbed to make way for Wright.

Wright 6 - Thrown in the deep end on his return from injury. Did OK.
Cox 6 - Didn't get much chance to do anything special.
Hart 6 - Not on for long, but looked to chase everything.
