only "indoor" game I've seen was Ajax v PSV in Feb, only 52,000 but the noise was amazing - especially when the firecrackers went off! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Personally I think football should remain an outdoor sport. I thought it was a bit unfair at last years cup-final where they closed the roof because of the torrential rain. If the roof had stayed open and the pitch become heavy it would have enhanced the underdogs chances.

Would recommend roof off. Was there the first time the roof was on, Spurs-Blackburn in 2002. Wonderful stadium, miserable outcome, but having the roof on seemed to contribute to a sort of training ground atmosphere at some points. Or maybe that was just Les Ferdinand's shooting.
Apparently Man U and Millwall have demanded it be open tomorrow, regardless of the weather. Makes sense.
This ain't tennis.

Roof open i say too, it does look amazing, but football is not an indoor sport.
