John Higgins was still charged for his behaviour and is still currently banned, so although cleared of match fixing to describe him as a credit to the sport is pushing it a bit.
I thought Higgins's story about going along with it because he was "scared" sounded like a load of cock and bull, to be honest. That explanation seems to have been accepted far too readily by the world governing body for my liking, and reeks of sweeping it all under the carpet for fear of what a full-scale investigation might uncover.
