Doug Ellis stepped down as chairman....and Villa won the European Cup. After that....Ellis strode large like Corbyn strides large in the labour party. Some people have no self-awareness.

For my sins, I was at Fratton Park, they must have been playing Spurs, when he arrived and signed for them on the pitch. Very dour but efficient player and manager. RIP.
