Me and 3 others, will be heading into town early as I want to see the Brazil Australia match. Think that one will be a classic as neither team knows how to play defensively, and think it could be a real end to end match. Not sure where I will be watching it yet though. Then for The Who, what a day can't wait, Monday off work as well :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:

Will the Lambrettas and Parkhas be out in force?

Could be, but we're old enough to know that we should leave the Lambretta in the garage and take the train!! Getting old and sensible..

i'm too YOUNG:)

Never too young for decent music - come and see the masters of everything you listen too these days - most modern music isn't new, its a variation of music from some of the greatest EVER bands!! Do yourself a favour

Can't tell you how jealous I am of you all.

I missed out on tickets for this and now the touts are selling em for well in excess of £100 for a pair, I can't afford that, not even for The Who.

Have a good'un though, I hear that a certain Mr.Butters will be in attendance.

Not a chance, another band well past their sell by date raking in the shekels. Whatever happened to "hope I die before get old". No more than sell out merchants like the Stones...have fun

You've got Amanda Barrie as your chauffeur/chaufette? At that hour? Is she going to start a ruck?

Given that Amanda Barrie turned 70 last year, I think a RUCK will be definately ON, if you happen to mention it like.

:lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

I think she's more worried about the FARTING that will almost certainly take place.

:clap2:

Two of them managed it so I think they're going quite well really.

:clap2:

Both in rock star style too, it's true

Look forward to your reports as I'm seeing them at Ashton gate the end of the month.
Not normally into the 'should have retired years ago scene' but made an exception to here Townsend playing live.
Did any of you guys see Quadrophenia live in Hyde Park about 10 years ago ?
I was lucky enough to be on the books of the PA company who did the gig so I worked it. It was f***ing great.
The PA wings had loads of Lammy's and Vespa's parked in front of them.
