Both are back in training now and stepping it up. No idea of the time to a reserve team appearance yet though.

Dean is still struggling and needs to see the doctor for a review.

Jolly should be back in full training towards the end of next week.

Hasn't Blackwell's contract expired, or has it been renewed? At the risk of sounding callous I would hope that he has tp prove his fitness and ability to play at this level again before he gets another year.

I think from the sound of RLZ's post he may be considering retiring or maybe I am reading too much into it.

He was out of contract when the injury happened so I doubt if they give him another contract just honoured a wage agreement.

According to the news in the summer (can't remember whether it was on club site or Argus) both have been given three month contracts, by which time they have to prove their fitness or they will be released.

I think they have been given time limits to get to fitness but that doesn't constitute a contract.

I think that sadly, due to the time that they have both been out of the game, their agesand the nature of their injuries that neither will ever come back to anything like the form that they once showed and as such it may prove prudent to let them move on and try to secure a contract elsewhere obviously in a lower division.
