How on Earth do you get the Gold discs? The Queen farts longer than my singles/album staying in the top 10.

Aaargh - never could get even the one gold disc before "That's the way the cookie crumbles" replaced the incessant "Bad publicity is good publicity, eh?" or "Rock star killed in nuclear explosion" headlines had ruined my band from within.

Think I may once have got to number two behind the Rent Shop Boys or whatever (fnarr, fnarr), but could never work out just how, if there really was a secret. Buy the cheapest "stars" (Stiff Pilchards, Dingo Strapp, Ted Newsagent, Ritchie Blackhead) or the megabucks prima donnas like Wacky Jacko or Tina Turnoff.

May just have to give it one more go now, though...
