Just looking at the trailer at work (so had sound down) but it looked like they might have taken away the whole bit about him not getting to see his wife and kids that was such a big part of the original - hope I'm wrong.

I will be avoiding, and pretending that this remake doesn't exist.

The first film is a genuine masterpiece.

Just seen that the remake is a 12 A. What made the original so good was its 18 certificate violence and black humour. I fear this is yet another dumb down in a similar vein to Total Recall. Going to avoid.

I actually ended up enjoying the remake of Robocop.

The remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the other hand... Well, at least Michael Bay isn't directing it...



(I did like the "it's just a mask" line)
