Karl Robinson is the latest name to be linked with the managerial vacancy at Albion.
The Seagulls have approached MK Dons to speak to Robinson about the post at the Amex, according to BBC Three Counties Radio.
Liverpudlian Robinson, now 34, became the youngest manager in the Football League when MK appointed him in May 2010 at the age of 29.
They have finished fifth twice, eighth and tenth in League One under his command and are currently second in the table.
Robinson is widely regarded as a bright young coach with a team that plays an attractive brand of football.
