Thats the only one that sticks out from memory, personally I dont have a fave keeper (well DIGWEED but thats cos hes a LEGEND) just as long as they both play well during the match, thats all that matters as they are both capable of doing that.

roberts was the best keeper in the division at the end of last season - he went 6 games without condeding, when did kuipers do that

and how anyone can say he flaps at crosses is ridiculous. yes, so he fumbles the odd one, but not as much as kuipers. his distribution is better, and since he's stopped dribbling with the ball he has been one of our most consistent players

For any of the mistakes Roberts makes (and the final was a fraction more error-strwen then usual, but still only 2), he averts other dangerous situations by coming and claiming when Kuipers stays, then often setting up counter-attacks with superb distribution.
Kuipers is class, a great shot-stopper, but you need more at this level. He reminds me of David James inhis reluctance to leave his line - not just for crosses, but for general sweeping. Roberts is a continental style keeper, whose risk-taking is part of what makes him better, but also entails some mistakes.
Get fit quickly!

Indeed, he has learnt from his mistakes and has become the better keeper for it already - what do people want?

It simply follows logic that the keeper who comes for 10 crosses in a match makes more mistakes then the one who comes for 1, live with it!

Wasn't he the shit hot young kid where we were all spitting feathers on NSC because he was supposedly being picked up by Palarse?

What happened there then?

he went for a weeks trial at liverpool at the end of the last season, but is still here
