bloody handy having two decent 'keepers, I know this sounds wrong but that car accident Michel had has turned out to be a good thing for us!

Why is there still an anti Roberts feeling on this board. He had his first long run in the side without injury at the end of last season and our defensive record improved dramatically. Michel Kuipers is a quality backup but saying Roberts' injury is good news is ridiculous. He must be number one if fit.

Not really fussed who plays actually. Like Crabtree says, it's just very nice having two halfway decent keepers in the squad.

Dont want to see Roberts injured but he was dropping clangers all over the place last few games and I was extremely unconfident when the ball was crossed into our box.

Come on Michel make yourself No 1!

I've seen them both play many times. Roberts just always seems so dodgy. Flappy.

Kuipers commands the back line much better and has better instincts. Which i rate above kicking.

I am not convinced Kuipers controls the back line any better than Roberts and our best run last year did come with Roberts in goal.

I agree that Roberts was not convincing early last season but he improved and I feel more confident with him in goal. It is good to have two quality keepers though. Lets just hope they do not both get injured at the same time.

im sorry thats rubbish

roberts clearly controls his back line better the players in the back 4 and they all respect him
he does not flap when did he flap in play offs? when he was elbowed in the face by c roberts?

he is by fair the better keeper
kuipers is good back up

the final for starters, nearing full time a simple collection at stomach height and he fumbled it out for a corner....NOT exactly needed as we we're winning obviously and that just added to the tension!

There was more than one fumble.
