Robert Codner - Empty Shirt!

He did a lot of jogging around the centre circle pointing, is my main memory of him.

Though the playoff against Millwall does make up for a lot of that. Probably one of my top five Albion games ever for sheer elation.

I couldn't stand Codner. I remember watching the rare highlights on TV and you hardly ever saw him in the same shot as the ball.

And I know there are people who rated him then, and in hindsight. Not me. Waste of a shirt 95% of the time.

I was a kid in the south for the millwall 4-1 play off game.
Possibly My favourite ever Albion moments up until this season of course.
Will never forget Mike small's sublime lay off for codner.
Loved that season
