Has left Championship Cardiff and joined Premier League Blackburn.

Bad move by Paul Ince, bringing in your friends really isn't the best of ideas. You need good players at the club, not good friends from the 'olden days'.

I can't see how he'd fit in, behind Santa Cruz, McCarthy and Roberts.

He didn't really cut it at Liverpool the second time either.

If I was a Blackburn fan, I'd be worried. The first sign that there's a big difference between managing successfully in League Two and cutting it at Premier League level.

Fowler's done nothing for years.

A crocked old has-been who's at the fag-end of his career. Christ knows what Ince thinks he's going to bring to Blackburn. Apart from crack.

I assumed it was his hatred of everything in red Liverpool, I'm waiting for his Rats leaving a sinking ship post about Crouch going to Pompey.

That will be a new thread about Peter Couch - Potato.

seems like a good decision, experience to back up the front-runners, if he stays fit, it could be a very worthwhile decision.

Hmm, is this a subtle dig at Micky Adams?

Mickey hasn't bought back his friends on the playing side. That would be Watson, Cullip, Carpenter, Rogers etc.

Virgo became the player he is under McGhee.

So no it isn't.

Hasn't brought his friends in? Are you completely out of your mind??????? He's signed one player who he hasnt worked with previously! And he's brought Bob Booker his old assistant back for Christ's sake. I'm not saying that I'm not happy with the people he's brought in mind, quite the opposite in fact. Much like Fowler, one of the greatest goalscoring records in the premier league, and even on his Liverpool return did pretty well. Blackburn are a mid table side and to have pure talent like Fowler's as a back up is a pretty good move i'd say; especially on a free.
