My favourite role of his.

Doc Holliday in Tombstone for those who’ve not seen it.

Sad news. His health has not been good for over a decade. Still, a young age to go.
The film is severely underrated, VK's performance even more so.

His performance as Doc Holiday in Tombstone is one of the best performances I have ever seen, he should have got an oscar.

Terrible news. He'd been ill for a while. He had great magnetism on the screen, never made a bad film and had a broad acting range. Outstanding performances in the films already mentioned, I'd like to add Kiss Kiss Bang Bang to the list. He'll be missed, RIP Val.

That's sad.

i only really remember him from the Doors movie and one of the Batman films.

And being married to Joanne Whalley.
He was incredible in The Doors.

In college I went to a talk given by The Doors drummer, John Densmore (he was promoting his book). The first thing he said about the movie was the Kilmer was amazing in it.

I really liked him in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang teamed up with Robert Downey Jr. I wish they'd made a trilogy with those characters. Sad loss, RIP Val.

RIP Val Kilmer. Very sad news... fantastic actor/fella.
Gene H and Val in the space of a month ; -(

Incredibly moving the Top Gun Maverick scenes where you knew in real life he did not have long left.
Loved Top Gun performance obvs.
Huge fan of Top Secret.
Not seen The Doors film all the way through... but comments on here remind me I need to.
Will check out Tombstone too then.

Have Top Secret and Heat in my collection so will watch one of those again tonight.
His performance in The Doors is remarkable but the film is the usual Oliver Stone slog imo.
RiP to a very charismatic actor.
