I don't understand "pebbles on the beach and you do something to me!"

"Pebbles On The Beach" and "You Do Something To Me" are Paul Weller solo song titles.

Oh, thanks for letting me know. I'll listen to them shortly and see if they are really that bad :)

Brathanki is ok, although I rather like Kombi:

Nietykalni (The Inviolable - the name and topic of the song is the clear reference to the communist scum that was ruling in Eastern Europe for so many years):

Or Lady Pank:

Zawsze tam, gdzie ty (Forever where you are) - probably the most famous Polish love song :) :

Or Republika (The Republic) and Biala Flaga (White Flag):

The person that is singing is Grzegorz Ciechowski. He died in 2001 (being just 44). One of the best Polish vocalists :(

You can read a bit about Republika here:

P.S. I also love British music. Katie Melua, The Jam, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, The Beatles, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Yazoo and above all Queen - that's my music :)

Just went to book some tickets for the Arctic Monkeys in Cardiff. Not a big fan but my mates from Sheffield are going so I thought it would be a good laugh. However I changed my mind when it turned out I would have to pay 32 quid for a just to see them:ohmy:

£25 for the ticket
£4 service charge
£3 booking fee.

What the f***.

what I dont understand is how these extra charges were slipped in and no-one said anything? We are being asked to pay an extra 7 pound for something that we didnt have to pay for 10-15 years ago.

In any other fields if someone added 7 quid for spurious costs there would be outrage.

I still dont understand why I also sometimes get charged up to 5 quid for the tickets to be delivered by some fancy courier when the GPO can do it for under two.

I guess we get what we deserve?
