Terrible news. He was one of my all time favourite players. As said, always gave his all. Wonderful player who proved his class with us and then Liverpool. I am shocked and gutted. He could be a bit naughty, what was the game he raced half the length of the pitch and clocked someone? Maybe my memory is playing up, but I seem to recall something like that.

RIP Michael, when you get into the team up there be a bit more selfish in front of goal!

Gutted, RIP Robbo.

Of course, most newspapers report him as Liverpool, Preston and Man City, clueless journalists at it again.

He was Albion, end of.

This is desperate news.

For that goal at Highbury, and all the others, Thank you Robbo

What crappy news. Without doubt one of my favourite Albion strikers. I had a great poster on my bedroom wall for years of Robbo wearing a daft hat on the pitch at Highbury after winning the FA Cup semi. R.I.P.

RIP to a great Albion player. One of the first strikers I really remember well. Scored an absolute bullet header in front of the North Stand the first time I was allowed in there.

Brighton factually.....
R.I.P Hero, thanks for the time at the Albion, when I moved up north you were my hero flying the flag and the only player the northerners had heard about who played for us. (Yes they had forgotten Lawro had played for us, so had he In fairness)

Truly shocked and upset, my thoughts are with his family.

This year can do one....
