I still watch a couple of episodes of Cheers every morning before work, even though Ive seen them all so many times, and Norm has to be one of the greatest TV characters ever.
Sad news to hear of George Wendts passing - always seemed like a guy you could actually sit down for a beer with. Made my day when he liked and commented on one of my FB posts on a "Cheers" group a few years ago

Always thought it was apt for Norm to be the last one to leave the bar in the final episode, and the nod to Coach was a nice touch too.
Perfect way to end the series.

I absolutely loved Cheers, indeed I still do.

A fantastic show, suberb writing and 'Norm' was an integral part of it. His deadpan wit and superb comic timing helped Cheers win a shedload of Emmys.

Still watch the re-runs on C4 in the mornings.
