You either go by the rules or there's no point in having random dope tests at all. You might as well just allow footballers to volunteer themselves for tests whenever they feel like it.

Absolutely spot-on. It's not whether he had taken drugs or not, it's the fact that as a professional he knew the rules and he broke them.

now it emerges Rio says one of reasons apart from the pathetic im moving home excuse lets face it money he has he could have a whole army sort that out for him! the other reason ('excuse') being he apparently has a sensitive medical problem! um wonder wot that could be! Anyway now the wholedamm game is in doubt as i suspect the MOAN united crowd among the squad are talking it up for a refusal to play. Play the B team in fact get the oplayers to sign an agreement right now that if selecetd they willplay if not they never play for the country again. its a disgrace they all thijk they are bigger than the game well they aint! and should remember without the game they would be nothing! It makes me almost ashamed to be English and embarressed to fly the st george cross flag. Its at half mast at the moment thanks Rio you CHEAT! All this is disrupting the preperation for the biggest game in ages we must beat those turks and thanks to a cheat we are now in danger of ******* it all up. Its time these players grew up accepted their responsibility and got on with preparing to stuff the turkey.

STUFF THE TURKEY

STUFF RIO

WE DONT NEED HIM WE DO NEED TO PLAY THE GAME AND NOT LOSE

There is talk that if players continue with this boycott of support for dear old Rio that they will never play international football again.

Good .
Lets hope ManUre suffer for this aswell.
If the ENGLAND squad keep up the boycott just replace them.
Find 22 who really do care and play them.
Qualify and never let the ones who boycott play for their team or country again.Bringing the game into disrepute should cover the ban.

spot on OApdodge theres planty players wood give their right arm to play for their country and thos ethat do think they can ransom the FA to wot they want well let me tell them without the FA and fans like us they would be nobodies. BAN RIO never let him play for his country again and if Moan Utd had any sense theyd do the same we dont need CHEATS in this game and thats what he is other Moan U players get checked out he doesnt its an excuse in so many eyes andthe whole point is by the rulke book you ARE assuemd guilty unless you prove at the time when asked not days later to prove otherwise. NO EXCUSES, ok if he was genuinely sick say there must be a clause says if you get a Doctors note that kinda thing but miving house dont wash Rio so kiss goodbye to your England career and let someonethat dontcheat take your place. I want to beat Turkey fairly not have them moaning we cheated so i say the FA are right in what they have donwe im 100% behind them.

RIO YOU CHEATED NOW YOU MUST WATCH THE GAME ON THE BOX LIKETHE REST OF US

The difference is that you can't forget to take that test as there is a bloody great policeman to remind you!

This whole ballsup highlights the need for such supervision for drug testing. Make the procedure such that the only way not to take the test is to refuse. Right now, it seems to be not much better than your volunteer scenario.

yes im sure the Moan United club balls up too by not reminding him making sure ets but they guys not a child he needs to be responsible and has emnough money ofr others to run around doing his errands like moving so it dont wash GUILTY by default as no test taken thats the rules he should be out and is thankfully the game goes on though damage to morale will be evident and if we dont get the result we will all be pointing the finger at Rio and the unrest he has caused
RIO IS A CHEAT
