Couple of old blokes in F-Block got up to leave on 88 minutes, and I shouted, "Extra time and penalties" at them and they scoffed as they went down the stairs. Cue, great hilarity as they scurried back to their seats a few minutes later!

A few people left with about 5 minutes plus injury time to go so there's a good chance 100 or so had left the ground when we scored. How could you live with that after missing one of the best 45 minutes in BHAFC's history. Still serves the old c*nts right.

Yep - one or two came skulking back to C block. Brilliant old fella next to me at the front of C block kept saying "it's past my bedtime" - and I think he meant it. But he stayed even though he had to get back to Hastings

i saw a lot of the man city fans leaving before the game was over, well they didnt miss much.

give the man city fans credit, the ones that stayed behind after the penaltys and claps us as we went over doing the easy chants :lolol:

That was pretty stupid as well.
A hundred stragglers, mostly the old dossers, who had stayed back to applaud The Albion - and a load of pre-pubescent gobshites mobbed up to shout aggressive derision at them and rub in what they already witnessed. :nono:

We do have some geniuses at our club don't we?

Once out, no re-entry into the ground :bigwave:

I'll have to find out from the gate stewards, if any were trying to get back in once we scored, and how many missed a famous night in Albion history!

Somebody behind me left at about 85 minutes.

Why??? I dont understand.

I hope he was a fast walker and was out of here before Murray scored

we dont need fans like them

He paid his dosh for the seat mate - right now I'd say we need as many fans as we can get regardless of when they decide to hop off home.
It's always the ticket-holder's prerogative to leave as they want to - they will just risk missing what happened on Wednesday night and find out afterwards.

That was funny. When they were told they would be back for extra time they just laughed. Then returned to a chorus of "We can see you sneaking back."

Just one of a number of top moments that night. Shall never ever be forgotten.
