Ok when the bear first arrived at Brighton I thought he was one of the worst footballers I have ever seen. But in recent seasons he can't stop scoring! Who would you rather have in the current squad? Will Revell like Barker come good? I reckon he might. Their both similar in the sense they are triers....

Obviously revell is playing at a higher level... barker has 4 so far. I wonder how he'd do at brighton now? I think he'd do a job for us. add a bit of beef to our strikeforce. He's good in the air nowaddays and I bet on him getting more goals than revell

always thought barker was going to be an ok footballer and was sad to see him go feel the same about Revell in that he tries chases and tries much like Hart did and still does this type of footballer may not set the world alight but will always have a place in a team:clap:

Yeah, I think the bear reached about 25 last season. Would take him in a second this season, would really help us I think. Swansea were rumoured to be after him midway through last season.

I like Hart but he never seems like a goal threat nowaddays, he always give 100% and I think that is because he knows where he came from. when i first saw him playing at the priestfield he was lot more nippy, but he is one of those players who bulked up and slowed down over the years...

The abuse he got in his early days was certainly worse than Revell gets and it took him an age to get his 1st goal. How time changes the viewpoint eh?

I like Revell. He holds the ball up well and was out on the wing a few times on Sat. If we could just get him some service, I think he will do really well.

Barker did well for us, but I think it's more a case of the service is crap.

Wasn't Barker banging them in for Rotherham in Division 1 (Championship)?

he was going at a similar pace as alan lee when fit and in the team
