Why? They have not started a new job, simply switched teams. By your logic, nobody would take players on loan because they need months to get up to speed.

As for CKR, he does need time. He's just 18 and is definitely an investment.

I'm not particularly worried that we actually have competition for the forward positions and viable options. We have plans A, B and C now, if we need it. It won't always work because we've not got so many options in midfield, but, for GOD'S sake, it's better than having the impotent cack of previous seasons.

Well, glass half-empty there. The other way you could look at it is that they are decent players just being kept out of the team by some pretty exciting performances up front by us currently
