I think you know me better than that. My point was that I don't see the first eleven much never mind the reserves and my views perhaps should have been taken with that in mind.

It would be foolish of me to be too stubborn and forthright on the basis of a 90 minute reserve game. just quite dis-appointed in McFual and Dixon on that showing only. I hope that it was a one-off

So was I, also with a Palace supporter, was nice to be able to get a beer at half time, also the burgers were better than the ones we get at Withdean. No Wilkins or White present, perhaps they were off scouting somewhere.

In fairness, Butters, Robinson, Fraser, Martot and Gatting didn't get home until 4 in the morning from Huddersfield.

Perhaps Carwash didn't know this, as the players had forgotten to post on NSC at 04:05 that they had just got back from Huddersfield and were knackered.

Indeed. It explains why Wilkins and White weren't there. They had to have an early night to catch up with their sleep.

Even if they did not get home until 4am, they would not have had training yesterday, so I am sure they would would have caught up on their sleep, in fairness.

No they didnt have training, but getting in at that time of the morning, having to rest and re-fuel properly in the space of 11 hours and be back on the road at 3pm to drive up to Bromely is not great preparation for any game after a trek back from Huddersfield.
