Look. I reckon the homesexual fans experience is no different to a hetrosexual fans experience. Lets face it the law of average says a goodly proportion of those at Withdean are a bit bendy.
Thats the thing about being a football fan. Your anynomous and can become part of something else.

I think that's what daveyclarkson is trying to get, bit moer constructive. Nice.

Now i would agree with that but add that if you were gay and at Colchester this year you probably would have taken offence to the chant, 'if you all hate faggots clap your hands' that the bumpkins, pikey pricks came out with.

I always remember when Brighton used to play Oxford we'd chant "you only sing when your cycling"

I'm a cyclist but I dont remember being offended.

Errr, different?

Not being stoopid here but surely singing ' if you all hate faggots' etc is akin to singing ' if you all hate niggers' etc?

We sing, "you're Welsh and you know you are" to anyone West of Chichester, so I suppose we are all racists.

BTW What does it matter what sexual orientation you are. As long as they don't do it in front of the horses, I have no problem with shirtlifters.

I am not too keen on those members of teh gay community who prance about on Gay Pride days!!!

ALSO, why is there a MOBO awards? Why is there not a MOWO awards. Is this positive racism?

There's a difference between celebrating a culture merely 'prancing' about on Gay Pride.

BTW its not as if the MOBO's are only given to black musicians either.

For the record i would never sing If 'you all hate faggots'. I'm a lefty liberal wishywashy politically correct fan.

When crowds sing songs regarding a fans or players sexual persuasion its one of those rare cases where it really backfires on the singers.

Its the equivelent of the large, beer bellied, bellicose fan who is unsure of his parentage shouting "you fat bastard".
They have no sense of self.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
If i knew any gay fans i would honestly put you in touch.
Unfortuately, i don't.
I consider myself to be leftwing, but i have screamed "Rentboy!" at a dodgy ref and probably worse at times. Basically, i can be a knobend too.
Post a link to the finished article if you can. I'd be interested to read it.

Why is chanting about being HIV positive exclusively offensive to gay people?

Maybe this statement shows up your prejudices more than anyone else's.
