Surely it can't have been softer than Peterborough's last night?

Oh hang on, Peterborough's wasn't soft as such, it was just wrong/cheating/insert appropriate word here.

It was a clear offside,so the penalty was the right decision; in fact the only choice the umpire chappie had.

And the Georgians were an ugly looking lot,so he could have given it for that.

Or the defender had a supernumery hand growing from his shoulder which was invisible to all but the x-ray vision of the ref.

Or something.

The referee was, throughout the game, the least sane ref I've ever seen. I'll quite happily take that penalty for the numerous non-existant fouls that generated free kicks for Georgia early in the game.

Need to see the offside decision for the disallowed goal properly as the match director neglected to replay it on the jumbotrons and it was the other end of the stadium from me.

Is your name Wenger?

Something dodgy and your team are handed a win, but you "didn't SEE it"

Yeah, riiiight.

Made up for disallowed goal in first half - that didn't come off Doyle. Wish I'd stayed with that game instead of switching over to England!!

Eh, no, the disallowed goal was for IRELAND not for Bulgaria and I didn't see it due to distance - Croke Park is a physically larger stadium than most and its nigh on impossible to make out whats happening at the opposite goal line if you're in the upper tier.

I believe the penalty was fair on its own merits, but when you also factor in that the ref was a loon who was giving incorrect decisions both ways all night I'll happily take it no matter what.

Shocking disallowed goal, shocking penalty (I did see it and it was nowhere near) - I'll take it. We were by far the better team on the night and deserved it, end of.

Trust me England fans, it feels better than losing!

I presume this is for the 'football'/hurling ??

.

Yeah, there are massive grass borders around the pitch when marked out for football - think theres some when marked for rugby too. Pitch is significantly too big for football if you used the full bounds.
