NSC protocol dictates you should start a new thread.

Oooops, sorry. Noted for the future. Probably won't have to wait long for another chance.

Mental decision. Took a point off Man U with a well organised defensive display and gave Liverpool a tough game (I was there - Liverpool were very lucky to get all three points). On the plus side, they'll definitely get relegated now which means a nice awayday added to next years calendar (probably)

Brilliant set of pubs to be saved. Start at the Sun Inn in Barnes and then a travail across the river.

Even though there's no vacancy there? Felix Magath has been signed on an 18 month contract.

Good Grief man. This is NSC. Facts do not matter.

What a fu*ckin joke, his been there 5mins, given United and Liverpool a run for their money looking like they could put together a good run of games and now they choose to get rid of him? Typical of the way clubs run teams these days.

Mickey Mouse outfit under this new owner.

They always have been. Got lucky with being bankrolled by Bloom. They start dropping down the leagues and most of their floating fans will desert them and they'll be back to playing in front of 4k at home as they were pre-Bloom.

???

They seem to be saying Meulensteen hasn't been sacked yet. He's still the head coach, but they've appointed Magath over him. They're saying he's still under contract but will presumably look to agree some sort of severance package.

The question is - what is the point of Curbishley?

Indeed. Just seen some tweets to that effect,

Reliably informed that Meulensteen hasn't been sacked. Still 'head coach'. But Magath '1st team manager'. Hence no mention in FFC statement
Naturally, FFC expect that severance package will be agreed with Meulensteen but for now he is 100% still under contract with club ...
Given no agreement yet with FFC over compensation, Meulensteen probably best served not giving anymore interviews (good though they are)
Decision on Alan Curbishley & Ray Wilkins' future at FFC will be made in consultation with Felix Magath
