It was still shut at Christmas and it added 45 minutes to my journey to the Loire Valley

I came back via Rouen in August and was "kettled" on a 10km stretch of peage just north of the city for over 2hrs because of that bridge. Ferry missed and everything. I had to drive like Alain Prost to make the last boat out of Calais.

Isn't on the coast but it's one of the worst places to drive around in the WORLD let alone France !

Sorry that was a stupid answer, I have driven round that nightmare of a place a few times!
