What a fantastic night.

A superb atmosphere and a cracking game of quality football.

A beautiful evening with the weather and it all went without a hitch.

Beer, standing on the terraces, piglets pies, gully's girls, a raffle, presentations what more could a Man or indeed a Woman want.

The football was superb. Dodge controlled the midfield, Ricky Marlowe at 60 put blokes half his age to shame and the no 17, Beach Hut's son was simply superb.

Thanks to so many people. Firstly those that came along around 250 paying customers. Thanks to Kay for the gate, Dave Willcock for the pa, Alan Wares for putting in so much hard work over the last few weeks and months, Lester Orman for his legendary raffle ticket selling, Gully's Girls for their routine and raffle ticket selling and Jo Wilson for her continued efforts for the REMF. Thanks to Roz South who did her superb photos again, despite carrying on after injuring her only remaining good leg and Everest for his photos. No doubt they will appear on this site soon.

Thanks in particular to Brett Mendoza for all he does and his magnificent efforts, yet again this year. Brett has raised I would say around £ 15-20 k from his initiatives in the last 4 years on his own.

Thanks to the officials.

Thanks to Lewes FC for being such magnificent hosts for the 6th year in a row and Piglets Pantry for their pies.

Thanks to Phil Shelley for sponsoring the superb match programme again.

Thanks to the CPFC supporters and players for their continued support to this great charity. The fund simply would not have achieved what it has without their involvement.

And last and not least all you great people who came along and helped make this event the wonderful night it is.

See you for REMF 12 in 2013.

Gate £ 1150
BHAFC team and initatives £ 2700
CPFC players subs £ 160
Phil Shelley programme sponsor £ 100
Raffle £ 411

Total £ 4521

In a pile of football shirts
Absolutely fantastic evening, really great REMF, super pies, match was actually watchable, beer eventually was spot on, great to see Gullys Girls, Piglets Pies, and all the regulars. My brother and sis in law came over from Cyprus, for this and the FA trophy final on Saturday, both have really enjoyed this evening. We had a tour round the Amex by Dodge earlier, and a fine evening for the Palace v Brighton fans. I have to say, both sets of players and fans were wonderfully tonight, football is a wonderful, thing isn't it?

Sorry about the upside down goal!
