Bournemouth/Reading
.... and Stoke vs Reading on the last day of the season?

Well, this season its:

08 May 2005
Brighton v Ipswich
Wigan v Reading

Talk about potentially having the roles reversed! Hypothetical I know, but if we manage to get anything from the game at Wigan, a Brighton loss on the last day may well completely screw us over!

I shudder at the thought of Brighton maybe needing to help us out!

Assuming we don't need the points, I'd happily see us lose to a Currie special if it dumps Reading out of a play off place. In fact I'd love it :)

I was thinking this the other week. Assuming that we're safe by the last game, and Ipswich need to win to secure the last play-off position, would you be happy to see us lose and them (and Currie) get to the premiership.

I have mixed views. I always want us to win, but I hope Currie makes it. Be good to see him in the premiership.

If we beat Ipswich, and Wigan beat Reading, we might just squeeze ahead of them into the last play-off spot.

Fantasy stuff, but how sweet would that be? Maybe we could borrow their ground for our play-off home leg

Couple that with raucous chants of "the scum are going down" and the phrase Marvellous Scenes springs to mind.

Assuming Sheffield United have one of those play-ff berths. (£50,000 to the Albion thank you very much).

Only if we win on Saturday, and they are not keeping us out of the playoff spots. We are only 12 points off you know. ???
