Money causes war, god just gets the blame.

And for the many words written on this subject, your eight are probably the most accurate summary.

There have been many many religious wars where there wasnt any financial consideration, just good old fashioned annihilation was enough, in the name of God of course :)

Oh behave it's quite clear what you meant at least be honest about it.

Believe what you want to believe mate, makes no difference to the truth whatsoever.

Quick tip for the future: when you are so worked about someone else on the internet that you are posting in the small hours of Sunday morning it's time to get yourself laid. Have a nice day you wally.

Not worked up at all, just trying to find out what you mean as you seem to have a generalised prejudice to religion which you seem reluctant to explain as mentioned by your truth comment.

I have explained it many times on here. I don't like religion and I'm suspicious of religious people. Muslim, Christian whatever. Don't trust them.

Go outside.

Blimey you have a few anger management issues or are unable to articulate yourself, best not to start a thread if you cannot cope with a bit of discourse which upsets your sensibilities.

If I was religious I might have believed you were Malcolm Muggeridge in a previous life such is your command of the English language. Anyhow enough of this playful banter, as Dave Allen said " goodnight and may your god go with you".

We have come a long way....just a shame we can't evolve out of this.

Although it does keep the numbers down I suppose

Sadly in some way this trait is the reason why we are here. The trouble is in the world we live in it is all about the haves and the have nots. Power, greed, class and poverty plays a mssaive part in this, and whilst it remains the case peasants will always try to revolt and the powerful will always fight to put them back in their place. Maybe one day, in many thousands of years we will all be born equal.

Who knows, maybe we will need to come close to extiction before we take a leap forward to real humanity. That said it depends on the types of people who survive it.

This is sad, Christians being slaughtered by the religion of peace, obviously does not merit the coverage afforded to Gaza. Christians: 'We Are Dying, and World is Too Busy With Gaza to Care' In a single DAY last week, the militants of the Islamic State killed no fewer than 1,500 people in Iraq, nearly the same number of people that were killed in the entire MONTH-long Gaza war. Christians are being systematically cleansed from the country. Most have been forced to convert, flee or have been publicly executed for their faith.
Iraqi Christians are throwing their children from the mountaintop to keep them from being raped, enslaved, and/or slaughtered by ISIS terrorists.
The dire situation has caused some families to make a seemingly incomprehensible decision. Forced with the bleak realization of their children dying of thirst or possibly being captured by Islamic State (formerly known as ISIS) militants, parents are making the unthinkable decision to throw their own children from the top of the mountain to end their suffering and bring about a quicker, and possibly more humane, death.
