Have I missed it or when will it be announced who has been released thanks
Last year the PL published all clubs retained and released lists on June 5th. I don’t think there was any official club announcement before that other than the one that confirmed Adam Lallana would be leaving at the end of that season.

Moran is under contract till 2028. He signed a new deal last summer before joining Stoke on loan. We won’t be releasing him.

More in hope than expectation? Not sure it's worked out as the club hierarchy might have hoped. Another spectacularly unspectacular Championship loan to come then?
Or get what we can from a Championship or League 1 club? If Leonard was only worth £500K and Cochrane £300K, what price Moran?

Of the first team squad, Tariq Lamptey, James Milner and Joel Veltman have contracts that expire at the end of June. It has been reported that Albion have a one-year option on Lamptey (and there have been noises about both Milner and Veltman signing new contracts, I believe).

Abdallah Sima's contract runs until June 2025 but the Athletic reported Albion had an extra year's option.

For other professionals: Killian Cahill and Ben Jackson both signed one-year deals last summer but the club has a one-year option in both cases.

Luca Barrington, Samy Chouchane, Sebastian Jensen, Jamie Mullins and Odel Offiah are also out of contract (I have seen no definitive reporting as regards options with these players but it is likely/possible the club has options here too).

It is also possible that other players may be out of contract (such as Joshua Duffus) - the club doesn't always report the length of contract signed by younger players, particularly in the case of their first professional contract.

We still won’t be releasing him with 3 years on his contract. Even if he’s not worth much we’d be kissing goodbye to a nominal transfer fee, possible sell on clause and have to pay him compensation on the remainder of his contract.

He might be sold quite cheaply over the summer but we won’t be writing him off totally when we were happy to give him a 4 year deal 12 months ago.

He's only 21, still got loads of potential. Just 6 months older than Caicedo was when he came back from being awful at Beerschot.

No, we won't. But will we get as much as for those two (both of which were a bit disappointing)?

21 now, two drab years in the Championship. I'd take Caicedo after struggling in an awful team first. This year's Jensen Weir, I'm afraid. Or Taylor Richards, if you prefer.

We take punts on lots of promising young players. More than could possibly break into our first team. So some work out, some don't. I don't see why there needs to be any whining about the ones that don't make it.
Who's whining? The question was, 'Who do you EXPECT to be leaving?' I offered two names I think will be on that list.

We have a one-year option on Joel too no?
