OH MY GOD!! Shockers today, both caught out by the goals Mayo x 1 and Reid x 2.

Reid is DEF not in my good books at the moment. Even when McGee switched him to DL he got caught out by Henderson. Completely poor performance!

Comments (yes, I am holding myself back from making some fuckin' abusive comments myself).

Just shows that we're completely knackered if the opposition play with wingers.

Good ol' Gary Hart for knackering Huckerby though:lolol:

every bloody season it's the same "Mayo in shocker" crap.

what worried me most was our inability to shoot on target.

Both got ripped apart today. Reid by Huckerby and Mayo by anyone that came near him, or indeed himself when he tried to pass the ball.

I feel realy sorry for the guy. He's got a testamonial at the end of the season for ten,yes TEN years loyal service to this club which is amazing considering what the clubs been through in that time.
It would be such a shame if us the fans got on his back big style and a sour taste is left in his mouth for the testimonial.

Im not defending the guy's poor performances,he's been below par for a few seasons now,but at the moment we dont realy have a better option.

Lets try and get behind him and see if we,the fans can get him through his last season with the club,if only to repay him for all the good performances he's turned in over the last ten years.

Or better still MM pull out the stops to find a left back and keep him in reserve for an emergency. The same with Charlie Oatway either of them could be used a s a sub with minutes to go to sure up a win , if we ever get that near, without letting anybody down.

Indeed. Cheering when him and Oatway came off wasn't good imo. Alright, they're not up to this level, but they always give 100% and have given this club great service. They don't deserve abuse.

I didn't think either Mayo or Oatway had bad games today, so I think people are overreacting somewhat. Reid had a shocker by his standards, didn't know what to do with Huckerby at all.

Hear hear.
A bit of sense at last. How many people moaning on this forum just listened to the commentary (Goring Gull?) and are basing their opinions on that.

Fair enough i wasn't at the game so i only have the commentary to go by but can anyone hand on heart say Oatway and to a lesser extent Mayo were much cop though. They were cheered off so must have done something wrong.

As for Reid dealing with Huckerby, i'm sure he's not the defender who Huckerby will make a monkey out of this season.
