Do referees ever get thrown out of grounds after a match or are they always treated to hot pies and a pint after their shower?

My son is 16 and a devout Brighton fan but also an FA accredited Referee. He was disappointed in the officials decisions today, if i understood what he meant i could argue a case!!! from my understanding we were robbed and the ref was a Northen cheatinf bastsomthin
