If it were here [Winchester League] you would be looking at £40 fine plus a ban. Normally 28 days for a straight red - don't know if they reduce it if its not for violent conduct.

Life or possibly more. I recall having a hat trick denied that way once, and because the captain of my team was a right tosser he insisted on taking the penalty!!!

I guess it would also depend on the person's previous.

Would it be his first sending off?

Or would he regularly be up in front of the East Sussex FA?

I stand to be corrected. I thought Sussex F.A. had changed from banning for a period of days/weeks to banning for a set number of games? As for the length of ban? Couldn't hazard a guess. The doddery old farts in blazers at Culver Road aren't known for sense & consistancy.

Life ban it is then...................

I would imagine it will be 2 games at most, you might get lucky and it only be 1.

Violent conduct is 5 i think.

£10 fine and 7 day ban was what I got. Mind you, that was from the West Riding FA and it was in 1993, so might not help you much. Was the last kick of the season, we were already 5-0 down and I stopped it by reflex as much as anything. After much haranguing the referee said he wouldn't send a report in. **** did though.
