Yes, our old friend Phil Prosser is at it again. Lee Miller sent off for Bristol City straight after he had scored. Second bookable offence - without knowing the details, I guess it was probably for celebrating his goal.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
The reporter on LDN could only assume that it was for celebrating.
If so Prosser really is a ****.

quote from qpr site
"The sending off incident was for an off the ball trip on Bircham, i couldnt say if it was intentional or not but according to danny wilson the ref has agreed to look at it again."

Robins want Miller review

Bristol City have asked referee Phil Prosser to rescind Lee Miller's red card against QPR on Saturday.
The striker was sent off for two bookable offences, first for blocking a free-kick then for obstructing a Rangers' player in the second half.

But Robins boss Danny Wilson is hopeful they can get the decision overturned.

"I have spoken to the ref and it's nice that he's willing to look at it again," said Wilson.

"The second booking was very harsh, particularly as we were on a good counter-attack at the time and their legs just collided.

"The first booking was avoidable but you can say that about a lot of them," he told the Bristol Daily Post newspaper.

(From bbc.co.uk/football) Best of luck Danny, I don't think you'll get anywhere.

There was a good bit about Italian ref Pierluigi Collina on football focus on saturday. Now there's a man who knows who to referee. Uses common sense and takes no shit. Perhaps the football league could hire him to train up the fools we have here.

I'm sure that's not what Danny really thinks or wants to say.

I watched that, quality referee to say the least.

He was accused once of being "over-familiar" with players but easily the best modern day referee for sometime.
