On NSC for over two decades...
By the late seventies to early eighties it wasnt much more than five quid a game

It used to be a fiver to get on the terraces on the West side of the Goldstone in the '90's, which rather saved me that time I drove all the way down to Hove only to realise that I'd forgotten to take my Dad's season ticket with me... it was touch and go for a while as to whether my Mum had left enough coins lying about in her car in order for me to make up the price of a ticket!!

you are right ..even at full capacity we make a loss..I thought that was a well known fact as its been mentioned loads of times during the Falmer campaign. as for the accounts we are millions in debt with trading losses for many years.

I did think that was pre the new seats and pre Ecovert being dumped.

Generally we still make a loss on games as the crowds are low.

I once asked 'Insider' this and he said he wasn't sure but he reckoned we needed gates at Withdean of about 12,000 to break even, so no, we make a loss every time we play. These losses pile up match after match, month after month, season after season - which is why I get irritated when people say "we've loads of money for new players."

Im not disputing this fact but it seems strange that the break even figure at £50 million falmer is the same at 2 bob withdean
