The end section of the exhaust has fallen off my car.

Can anyone recommend a decent car mechanic in the Brighton area? I really don't want to chance Quickfit again.

Portslade
Hangleton Garage is good I think. Not close enough for you though?

Not sure about Brighton ones, I would avoid Nationwide Autos though as they make stuff up and inflate the bill IMHO.

Thanks LadySeagull. I think most of the big chains are to be avoided.

I wish I could. I could certainly do we saving the cash. I'm not sure that cello tape is any substitute for welding though.

depending on the car you could do it yourself, i recently just replaced the whole exhaust on the wifes 2002 vauxhall vectra only had 2ft ground clearance, you could save anything up to 250 quid doing it yourself,

A back box is dead simple on most cars and should not involve any welding. Surf the web and try u tube you may see just how easy it is. Keep safety in mind though.

What car is it and where are you? I used to manage ATS in kemp town so I don't mind having a look and doing it for you if it's not too much of an arse :)

The arse end of Hangleton
Bells - on the industrial estate next to Asda Hollingbury - always very good and a decent price.

I honestly don't know what I would do without NSC and the Albion. Thanks for all the advice guys and Upthealbion1970 for the generous offer. Top bloke.

We should all be proud to have a community like this around our club.

I might try Bells as it's close to where I am at Preston Park and I should be able to get the thing up there without too much trouble.
