Bissouma showed why he's one of the best midfielders in the domestic game.

Burnley are gonna get smashed. Imgonna get drunk. Biss is one the best players to ever play football.

Lots for Potter to work on this week.
Dunk, Webster and Lamptey didn’t work as a back 3
Ffs Sanchez, change your facial expression!!!

Caicedo and Ferguson look like they could be important for us next season
Hopefully Trossard and Mac Allister will be back for the next game
Biss was great
Bearing in mind you’re supposed to learn more from your mistakes, the defence will be clued up for Watford

The potential of our youngsters on the fringes of the squad, or out on loan. Undav, Mitoma, Kozlowski, Zeqiri, Van Hecke, Caicedo, Alzate, Kadra, Sariemento, Ferguson, and a couple of young keepers who’s name escape me.

And to think, I used to get excited by Jeff Minton, and Snakey Jake.

Adjustment time for post BDB
Dunk game time
We know we can do better with Trossard and McAllister
Maupay can’t play worse
Like look of Caicedo
Focus on a top 10 EPL spot
Bissouma’s worth many many millions
Recruitment’s strikers folder gets bulkier

They scored one very good goal, one big deflection and one unlucky chapter of accidents where Kane got there first.
They fell over a lot more than us.
Caicedo and Ferguson certainly didn’t disgrace themselves.
My Spurs supporting nephew reckoned we played the better football.
Bissouma was….. Bissouma!!!
We can leave winning the FA Cup for next year, the 40th Anniversary of “and Smith must score!”…… (unfair to Smith.)

Reasons to be cheerful. Thanks to the club’s shambolic communication strategy over tickets, I’ve put some money into my local, saved a shed load from a usual away day in London and am already at home.

Oh well, Watford away next week.

You didn’t miss much, the first half hour was all Spurs…

…But enough about ITV4’s pre KO studio discussion!

Can’t stand Spuds.

Much of NSC hasn’t yet cottoned to the likes of Danny Levy spending/borrowing their way, to squash the Brighton’s of this world. Vast sums paid for players, to players and managers. Nothing nuanced or clever about Levy, a money man.

I’m fine with Brighton operating in the echelon below that, we’re doing exceptionally well.

Yep, Levy not exactly in the same mould as Tony.

Yep, Levy not exactly in the same mould as Tony.

Levy - just goes out with a shopping list of the best players and coaches in the world. Hands on, a control freak.

Making a heap load of incredible blunders as a result:

Ndombele £54m
Sanchez £38m
Sissoki £32m
Lo Celso £29m
Soldado £27m
Sessegnon £24m
Gil £23m
Aurier £23m
Janssen £20m
and many more.

Yeah but what about all those trophies they've won!

Reasons to be cheerful?
Just think how far we have come , from a lower division side to top ten in the Premiership- All done without dodgy foreign investment .
Last night we were outplayed but then , everybody does sometimes... time to say “ Oh well (shrug) and look forward to the next league game.

A bit of a pick me up after a disappointing night going out the cup.

But,

We're 9th in the Premier League.
One away league defeat come February.
Dunk is back and will be better with minutes.
Top managed and run club.
Likely to be best league finish in decades.

Keep your heads up, we're having a great season and a good cup run will come, just not this season

Bit of a drag losing, especially with two comedy goals, but we played well enough. Did I read somewhere that Gross and March shouldn't play for us again? Christ!

The fact that we are disappointed we lost away at Spuds tells it all really :lolol:

Bissouma was far and away the best player on the pitch, when you look at the scoreline and the superstar players Spurs have that could sound like a clear case of Blue and White Spectitis,it isn't, wonderful player.
