[Albion] Realistic reasons for Knockaerts omission today - first up, Mrs Knockaert and Debenhams

Whilst travelling back tonight we were discussing Knockaerts exclusion from the squad today and Giraffe Junior suggested it is to do with his mum. Apparently his mum works in Debenhams in Worthing. As it’s nearing Christmas they open late on a Friday and Mrs Knocky needed a lift home. That meant his dutiful son legging back from Manchester where the squad had just landed so that he could pick his mum up and take her home. He then drove all night to get back to the team hotel where Hughton was waiting with a slipper in his hand and a pencil ready to strike through his name on the teamsheet.

To be fair to Giraffe Junior this theory is as likely as the tactical omission given.

Might have been due to his chesty cough and slight temperature , as wild as this suggestion seems i probably wouldn't want to play outside either .
