Arsenal's away fans are unbelievable but their home fans are nearly the worst

The atmosphere they generated was amazing. Never associated Arsenal with loud support home or away, but even at 4-1 down they were pretty on song. Amazing effort by them, good numbers too.

Arsenal away fans have got to be some of the loudest in the country, a lot of the fans ONLY go to away games.

Reading have lost the two highest scoring matches in the history of the Premier League; Portsmouth 7 Reading 4 on 29 September 2007 and Tottenham Hotspur 6 Reading 4 on 29 December 2007.

The Albion matches I have been to with most goals were 10-1 v Ipswich followed by 2-8 v Bristol Rovers, followed by 4-4 v Leyton Orient and 4-4 v Chester (? team).

When did we have a game with Ipswich that ended 10-1?

I must admit at 4-0 down I thought it's going to be another season without silverware and might even have spelt the beginning of the end for Arsene Wenger. I'd love to know what odds the Gooners were to get through when four down - possibly 999/1 on Betfair?

That game was just what the League Cup needed. It still brings out strong emotions in fans. Hopefully Bradford at home next round.

Really? Genuinely didn't know that, I can't say I've ever noticed them being particularly loud apart from last night.

Alan Green of 5 Live fame described it as possibly the greatest game ever. He also said it showed just how much entertainment the Premier League brings after two Premier League sides can produce such entertainment in a competition which is not hugely important to either.

Not sure why its being hailed as the greatest comeback ever. What kind of retards f*** up a 4-0 lead? ???

I see your point. What a 90 mins of defensive dross. However, it still took some great team spirit from Arsenal for not just giving up.
