Yes I believe so. It was when Reading weren't fashionable and I think there was only a few thousand in attendance. They may of gone up that year too.

We are hoping to be in Reading at that time, we get thirsty after a train journey and will have to look for a pub.

I'll be taking my 7yr old boy to his first away game. His record at home last season was 1 win & 2 draws, so confident we'll come away with something tomorrow......

Three Mile Cross which is just over the Motorway. You can then walk over the bridge and towards the ground. Advantage of this is you're quite far from the main traffic and people leaving town, so getting on motorway will be really easy.

Or

Whitley, in Reading. Aim for somewhere near Hartland Road. There's loads of residential roads off this one and it's unrestricted. It's about a 20 minute walk to the ground. I've been parking here for years when it's a game I don't plan on drinking at.

What time do you need to get to Three Mile Cross to get good parking?

Last season we got there around 14:00 hrs and plenty of places to park, think we just used the pub car park as they don't seem to mind. It is around 25 minute walk

The 11am train from Paddington arrives at 11.30 & suddenly the Three Guineas starts filling up. Got a table, half an hour until my mates arrive, but urgently need a poo. Can't get up or I lose the table. Dilemma
