Yes he was. Now coaching our deadbeat first eleven, at St James.
Used to play there loads in the junior teams as they were always in our league.
Eastbourne are going through a right purple patch at the mo. 5 Sussex players, produced Tim Ambrose (sort of), captain of MCC Young Cricketers, Peter Moores played there, Richard Halsell England fielding coach played there, Andy Flower now part of the England set up played there. Quite a proud time for the club.
