he actually went into the shop (was in town) and gave all 3 of the numbers he was given the same date for all 3 numbers.

this is my point. if he gets an early date, he can get my ticket as one of his plus 3.

I can assure you I am not being sarcastic and I do feel something is wrong from his presentation date.
Did he ring up giving his fan number or you giving your number?

(sorry to get involved again) Nope that would be correct - block C starts 25 Jan so Block K would be end of Jan - makes no difference how long one has had a ST, whether you're an adult or not or whether you held a ST at Gillingham. Its the block where you sit that matters.

Well I do think something is wrong there and perhaps he should ring the number in the letter and ask why he is so late, because your father was obviously higher than myself when Withdean tickets were given out. If he has then held that ticket from that point then he should have been in front of me and he is not.

Well I sit in E block South and that has put me very high on the list

And I think therein lies the problem - it all seems a bit arbitary. Despite sitting in the same C block seat for the full duration at Withdean and having a ST at Gillingham, E block comes before C block and even more before K block it seems. Have checked with the club and this is definitively the case. Hey ho - leave some good seats for us (-:

All i can say is...at last.
my point has been made clear.
at least now i can see i'm not the only one who is unhappy and views the order within a priority as incorrect.

How do you then prioritise hundreds, possible a couple of thousand of people into 160 a day?

thanks to Deadly Danson for seeing through my brashness and seeing the point i was trying to make. maybe i have gone about it in an aggressive way, but the lies i have heard from the from the Albion are starting to wear thin.

fosters headband:- at the time of tickets from Gillingham, their was my ticket (a child) my dad (full price) and my uncle (also full price)
since leaving Gillingham and playing at Withdean (unfortunatly in the Div 3 Championship season) my Uncle passed away, and my dad's uncle took up the ticket (OAP concession)

I am not in any way, shape or form saying i'm the only person who seems to have been shafted. i'm standing up and voicing my opinion to the football club to show that i am personally unhappy with the way some fans have been treated. this may be me, you or anyone else either on this forum or otherwise.

If i were the person reading this, i would not read it like someone moaning, i would read it and think about my own situation, how the club has also done me wrong. Prehaps all of us fans should be united, and maybe for once our opinions will be heard.

So can I clarify, you are about to get a chance to sit in the most modern stadium in the country, will have a choice of about 15,000 seats, (assuming 2,000 for away fans, 2,000 for 1901'ers and 2,000 are ruffians from another block who are the people you despise)all of which have been subsidised by the chairmen out of his personal fortune

Because you sat at Gillingham (and fair play to you for doing this) for two seasons, and a fan who did not, but has been to Withers for the last 9 years gets to choose a seat a day or two ahead of you, and this seat may, but also may not, be the one that you had your heart set on, (and of course Row S number 243 may be the best view at Falmer for all I know) this means you have

1 'Been shafted'
2. Been lied to'
3. Think the club has 'done you wrong'

Perhaps you would have been happier if planning position had been denied, and therefore this heinous injustice had not taken place, and you could have been happier sitting at Withdean until Tony Bloom decided to stop wasting his money on it and shut the club down.

I think everyone understands this point. Most just don't think it's that important.

Here's an analogy, there's a queue with 40 people in it and they are queueing for Smarties (yes the sweets) There are 200 smarties in total, some are different colours and those at the front of the queue have first choice of which colour. You two are kicking up a fuss about being 10th in the queue (of 40) instead of 3rd (of 40)

Give it up, get what's available and enjoy the new stadium, nobodies been shafted or lied to.

Definitely a tricky one for the club as I've said before - I would just have liked to see Gillingham ST holders to be recognised ahead of the block system. Just seems fairer on an objective (and yes, I admit a personal) basis. It would have filtered it down a bit more anyway. I'm sure I'll get a decent seat in our fantastic new stadium so I'll bow out of this one now as I didn't intend for this to become a fan against fan rant - just wanted an answer from the club.

Perhaps there is an assumption that "The Gillingham Faithful" are so dedicated they would be in priority group one.

If your point is that within that top priority group there should be extra priority for The Gillingham Faithful then I would say that is where I lose sympathy. You're in the top priority group, it's like being invited in for a pre-sale and then complaining that you're not given added priority over everyone else who qualified for the pre-sale, and perhaps there are people in the top priority group who donated plenty to the alive and kicking fund or contributed to the club in other ways that give them as much of a claim to higher priority within the group. People who bought three adult tickets every year paid more than you, your dad and your uncle, so they have higher priority than you by your own standards earlier in this thread.
