brighton, actually
just seen latest GD, with a Brighton man building a house from recycled car tyres etc in France.

Kevin Mc seemed to enjoy helping out, or was he just being kind?

an impressive build, though how they ended up still spending £130k when most bits were scavenged i'll never know!

So that's why he hasn't been playing regularly for us? Surely Adams knew about his other job commitments when we signed him?

Sack the board etc:angry:

I have huge issues with that type of Brightonian. I loathe them.

A bunch of middle class, right on, to$$ers.
It amazes me the amount of stupid people prepared to join in, pay for it, and get nothing by return.

'Oh look at me I'm doing it for the planet'. All the while driving around in a knackered belching giant diesel van.

As for 130k spend, the house might have cost sod all, but they still wanted to surround themselves with their middle class luxuries, not a great deal of 'earth mothering' with that bespoke bed.

To$$ers the lot of them, give me chavs everyday, at least you know what your getting.

Thanks desprate, ruin my day before it's even started.

And shave your pits love, you might be in France, but you'll still come running home to blighty and your private health care when something goes wrong.

They didn't explain that at all, did they? Presumably the solar panels, windows, mega boiler thing...

Would have been interesting to know what it would have cost if they'd had to pay for all the materials and not rely on their knit-your-own-lesbian soulmates to do all the hard work for nothing!

I got the impression that Kevin wasn't actually that impressed, he always has to say something nice about it at the end but this time it didn't sound that convincing.

It wasn't really a grand design though was it!!
It was a big tyre wall at the back, wooden window/door units at the front and a rotunda thing shoved on the side, then partitioned off to make 5 rooms.
