According to South East Water, as of 22nd May, both Arlington and Ardingly are at 100% capacity.

Mainly because they've diverted water from nearby rivers to fill them up.

The groundwater levels are still dangerously low, dont be fooled by the reservoir levels!

Water has been diverted to Ardingly from the Ouse for years. It's not as if it's something that the water companies has only just started doing.

I suppose so, but still doesn't change the fact the groundwater levels are critically low.

surely we must be on course for a very wet May. How much more rain do we need before the water levels are back to normal?

someone must have the facts!
