Coming back home next Monday as a bit of a day/night out with some of my friends from Luton who haven't visited Brighton before. Another local friend was trying to plan somewhere a bit different to visit for a light lunch - with the original idea being the "Tea Cosy". Apparently this place is booked for a private party, which would make sense being the Jubilee bank holiday.

Anywhere else come highly recommended that is fairly central but a little bit out of the ordinary?

Also, in a related matter, best Fish & Chips on the seafront?

Most of the fish and chips on the seafront is shit. Go to bankers as it's only 2 minutes walk away. As said above, EVERYWHERE is quirky compared to Luton. Had a lovely lunch at the Eagle in north laine on Saturday.

Are you suggesting that regular EDL vs UAF marches aren't quirky and fun? And Luton does have it's own Airport, so it's not all bad!

Hilarious suggestions of Wetherspoons. I only moved up here for work 2 years ago, so I haven't completely forgotten life in Brighton.
