I'm (sadly) guessing it will be Bton-Littlehampton, then Littlehampton-Victoria.

are there any other routes or is that about it?

not having done that scenic route before, how long does it take?

From Brighton, either go via Hove or Lewes. Or get a lift to Haywards Heath - that's what I'm doing. You can get the Thameslink train from there.

I meant weekend of 2rd/3rd December.

that's much further disruption I believe.

I've done that journey a few times from Portslade / Worthing as gf lives in London.

Puts about 45 mins on time from Portslade, used to take about 2 hours as opposed to 75 mins.

Get a paper, sit back and relax.......
