The 30 secnds will only limit if the posts aren't sent in the same data stream. If all of the posts in a double/triple/quadruple/pentuple (if thats a word) post arrive to the server in one stream, the DBMS will process them in the one time tick (usually a second, sometimes higher). It can only start the timeout after that tick is over.

So is it possible to triple post ?

I've got 4 before. You need to basically hit the Submit button eight times and hope that your browser is too stupid to stop you. E.g. your using Internet Explorer or a Macintosh.

nope not this time, sometimes it maybe a glitch in the sever, like it stalls for a second or so due to overload then re-reads your submit button pressing again...causing double postage, its called "OverPostage"...probably!

it sometimes happens when the connection is poor, you post a reply but it times out and then you press back on the browser and re-submit...then you realise the original message was posted :dunce:

I've done it when the connection is poor. You click on the Submit reply, nothing happens and so a little while later you click on it again.
Then all of a sudden it goes and you find you have posted twice in error.
